Soul Eater Episode 1
Title: "Soul Resonance: Soul Eater, Becoming a Death Scythe?" Maka Albarn and Soul Eater, a meister and weapon pair, have defeated ninety-nine evil souls, and they now need to defeat a witch to evolve Soul Eater into a Death Scythe. They seek out a witch named Blair. Though Maka fares poorly, Soul tricks Blair into believing he is her ally, enabling Maka to defeat her. However, Blair was actually a magical cat, and as a result, Shinigami confiscates Maka's souls, forcing her to start the process again.
